Tarner Community Project provides affordable and secure out-of-school play provision of an outstanding quality for children aged 4 – 11 years. For over 18 years we have been providing children with exciting, creative and stimulating play in a wonderful park setting. Emphasis is on learning through play and having fun. Children learn skills and are free to chose from a wide variety of activities, and they often make life-long friendships here. Read our glowing testimonials for more. Rated OUTSTANDING by Ofsted in 2008 and again in 2014, the club is based at the Playbase in Tarner Park on Sussex Street. The children have full access to the park all year round.
The After School Club runs in term time only, from 3pm until 6pm. We currently collect from Carlton Hill, St Luke’s & Queens Park Schools. Healthy snacks such as fresh fruit and vegetables, crackers and yoghurt are available throughout the session. At 5pm we also provide a vegetarian meal and pudding, cooked fresh every day.
We offer a wide range of activities: art and craft, games, sports, cooking, music, dance, plays and performances, free play and much more.
